The District of Columbia Interscholastic Athletic Association (DCIAA) will host its first middle school sports program this summer. In partnership with DCPS summer school, students will have the option to participate in summer school in the morning and the sports program in the afternoon. However, students
can participate in the sports program solely.
What sports are included in the summer program?
Students will be exposed to three sports: soccer, baseball/softball, and archery. Students will participate in all three sports and will be provided with the equipment associated with that sport.
The DCIAA will host this program at four sites:
- Brookland Middle School
- Anacostia High School

Eastern High School

Columbia Heights Education Campus
Important Information:
- The sports program will begin Monday, June 25, 2018 and end Friday, July 27, 2018.
- The sports program will take place Monday - Friday from 1PM - 5PM (Summer school will be 8AM - 12PM).

Students enrolled in summer school will be provided lunch and then transition to the sports program.
- To be eligible, students must be enrolled in a DCPS school, be a rising 6-8th grader (current 5th graders can apply), complete the registration link below, and have a Universal Health Certificate(UHC) Form/ Parental Consent Form that does not expire prior to July 27, 2018.

This program is free to all students.
How to Register?
Please submit the registration form by March 15, 2018. The registration process will close on March 15, 2018, and late registration forms will not be accepted.
